Sandia Resort & Casino has been the leading Casino in the highly competitive Albuquerque market for almost two decades. This includes gaming and hotel revenues as well as an extensive and impressive entertainment presence. In the Fall of 2017 and Spring of 2018, the resort began to experience heavy incoming competition in the form of expanded gaming, lodging, and entertainment offerings both from existing Albuquerque casinos and a new player in the market. As Sandia readied its own expansion of gaming, entertainment and dining amenities, the Resort reached out to Tribal Resource to help advance and evolve its existing brand while maintaining its heritage and familiarity with long-time customers.
At the same time, a new media strategy and subsequent tactical plan was required to answer the competition while advancing the new concepts and amenities of Sandia’s own expansion.
